Logo Design and Basic Branding
Early Design Phase
To start the logo design process, I begin by sending out dynamic and different designs based on the reference that the client provided. From here we select the favorites and start to refine the design to the clients liking.
During the refining process, we began to select fonts, and really dial in the spacing of the letters and to match typography.
Final Design
Once we have a final design, we begin to build the layout around it. Here we test how it would apply to business cards, letterheads and any other collateral the client might need. We needed to really focus on a strong icon for use on social media videos and lower thirds, as well as cross promotion with third party organizations, where we didnt want the icon to get lost among other logos.
